Marinated Cucumbers, Onions, and Tomatoes

3 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
3 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/4 cup oil

Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving

WACKY CAKE

3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups cold water

Sift flour, sugar, salt, soda and cocoa together into a 9 x 13 inch ungreased cake pan. Make three wells. Pour oil into one well, vinegar into second, and vanilla into third well. Pour cold water over all, and stir well with ford.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Frost with your favorite icing.

Listerine: the BEST way to get your feet ready for summer. Sounds crazy but it works! Mix 1/4c Listerine (any kind but I like the blue), 1/4c vinegar and 1/2c of warm water. Soak feet for 10 minutes and when you take them out the dead skin will practically wipe off!

Stacie's Notes: Do NOT use Blue Listerine! I have a friend who did, and, well, she had blue feet for a while. I think she's finally been able to work the dye out. But don't DO it! ;)

7 cups water,
1/2 cup baking soda, 
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup vinegar

throw in a spray bottle and spray your floor, let it sit for a minute or two... then scrub :)
